Your Pet Deserves the Best

At Denville Animal Hospital, that is exactly what they’ll get. Denville Animal Hospital has a veterinarian and personnel who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care needs your pet may have during normal business hours. If you ever feel your pet needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to call us. We will advise you on how to best care for your pet. This may require a visit to our facility or a referral to and 24/7 Urgent Care facility. Denville Animal Hospital is unique because we are licensed to keep many unusual and perishable emergency drugs on hand for a variety of emergencies. This allows us to more quickly and effectively treat animals on-site for uncommon and acute emergencies, such as antifreeze intoxication. Prior to any treatment, an estimate that includes the cost of diagnostics will be presented to you for review and approval. Once diagnostics are complete, the veterinarian will review your pet’s condition, treatment, and prognosis with you. At that time, a written treatment plan will be provided. All of our patients are seen on a first-come, first-serve basis pending any life-threatening emergencies. We understand that having an ill pet is very upsetting, but we ask for your patience during your visit.

After Hours Emergency Services

Advice and Guidance for Caring for a Pet at Home — If we determine that your pet is not in an acute crisis, we will advise you on how to best care for your pet until we can see them. Refer to Emergency Hospital — If our veterinarian believes your pet has an acute emergency, we may refer you to the local emergency veterinary hospital for immediate service. We are happy to offer emergency and urgent pet care during our normal business hours. Due to the nature of emergency care, our staff is not able to offer 24/7 emergency services. In the case of emergency treatment needed after hours or on Sundays, we kindly refer our patients to Animal Emergency & Referral Associates or Oradell Animal Hospital.
