Dr. Prabhakar Reddy grew up on a farm in India, where animal care was a natural part of life. He betters the lives of pets and those who care for them as a veterinarian and the Hospital Director here at Denville Animal Hospital.
Dr. Reddy worked as a scientist and researcher for five years following his graduation from veterinary school, then decided to focus his efforts on animal medicine. He became the Director of Denville Animal Hospital in late 2009, and has been helping the pets of this area stay happy and healthy ever since.
When he isn’t here at the clinic, Dr. Reddy enjoys cooking, reading, following politics, and spending quality time with his family and pets. He and his wife have a wonderful son and daughter, as well as two cats, Max and Lucky, and a dog named Koby.
For Becky, nothing was better than when the opportunity arose for her to combine her people skills with her love of animals. Becky is proud to serve as Denville Animal Hospital’s Practice Manager.
Becky grew up in Rockaway with her parents, two sisters, a brother, and plenty of family pets, everything from cats and dogs to hamsters and mice. She earned her B.S. in Business Management and Marketing at William Paterson University with a minor in medical coding and billing. She joined the Denville Animal Hospital family in October of 2017 where she started as a receptionist and quickly rose to her position now. She has been involved with animals all her life. Previously she volunteered as a puppy raiser for the blind with the Seeing Eye for over 10 years.
She has three animal companions of her own at home: Blackie, a Himalayan who Becky took in after a client surrendered him to Denville Animal Hospital; a playful long-haired cat named Bella; and a domestic shorthair named Charlie.
Becky’s main interest outside of veterinary medicine is traveling. She’s been to over 15 destinations in just the past few years, including hiking to the top of ancient Mayan ruins in Tulum, Mexico, and traveling through New Orleans during the Mardi Gras celebration.
When Shannon and her parents adopted her first Beagle, her mind was made up, she would one day become involved in the veterinarian field.
Shannon grew up in Stillwater, New Jersey and started her career in animal medicine by working at a local kennel, cleaning and taking care of hospitalized pets. Shannon is a Certified Veterinary Technician and she joined the Denville Animal Hospital family in March of 2017. She brings special job duties with her, including bloodwork panels and surgical assisting.
When she isn’t bettering the lives of animals and their owners here at the clinic, Shannon can be found hiking with her dog, and ballet dancing. Shannon shares her life with two companions: a beautiful black cat named Midnight, whom she rescued as a kitten when she was found in the nearby dumpster at the Denville Animal Hospital as well as a lively and spunky Shiba Inu named Koda.
Jasmine grew up on her aunt’s farm where she first fell in love with animals. She is a vital member of the Denville Animal Hospital family since October of 2017.
Jasmine attended Delaware Valley College to major in large animal science. For the past ten years, she’s served as a pet-sitter specializing in special-needs animals. Jasmine has had the opportunity to care for everything from horses, cows, and goats to snakes, ducks, and llamas!
She particularly likes assisting with surgeries here at the Denville Animal Hospital. At home, Jasmine and her husband share their lives with one pet of their own: Optimus Prime, a handsome Shiba Inu / Jack Russell Terrier mix. Jasmine also has a horse named Little John and she even competes with him in local shows.
When she isn’t caring for pets here at the hospital or spending time riding her horse, Jasmine likes riding her motorcycle with her husband and traveling. So far, she’s visited several destinations including Mexico, Poland, Slovakia, and Italy!
